Problem Note 35190: When submitting the LIFETEST procedure in Phase 1 of SAS® 9.2 (Japanese) and SAS 9.2 (English DBCS), a read-access violation error message appears
In Phase 1 of SAS 9.2 (TS1M0), when you submit PROC LIFETEST on SAS 9.2 (Japanese) or SAS 9.2 (English DBCS), the following error message might appear:
ERROR: Read Access Violation In Task [ LIFETEST ]
Because the issue is associated with SAS traditional graphics, the workaround is to use OPTION NOGSTYLE. If you prefer for NOGSTYLE to be the default, add NOGSTYLE to your SAS configuration file.
